Multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) are a one-dimensional nanomaterial with several desirable material properties, including high mechanical tensile modulus and strength, electrical conductivity, good thermal conductivity. A wide variety of techniques have been optimized to synthesize MWCNTs fabricate thin films MWCNTs. These synthesis fabrication methods vary based on precursor materials, process parameters, physical chemical principals, strong influence the properties films. Thus, determine performance devices that can exploit advantageous Techniques for nanotube reviewed, followed by discussion use as an electrode electrochemical double-layer supercapacitors (EDLCs). EDLCs feature power density, excellent reversibility lifetime, improved energy density over electrolytic capacitors. Beyond surveying previously explored MWCNT electrodes, alternative approach inkjet printing capable depositing small amount active is discussed.
